I am a produced playwright and an artist. I recently started making 3D dioramas; combining drawing, painting, cut-card, papier-mache and up-cycling to create small intimate shadow-boxes which I hope will amuse and delight.

THE COMMISSION PROCESS:
With portraiture I usually work in oils or watercolour. For illustrations the choice of medium can be more varied. Portraits can be done from a photograph (sitting not essential). I will need at least one good quality photo plus enough time to complete the work (if there’s a deadline). Oil paints will require longer (several weeks) and watercolour, ink, or pencil will be quicker (a matter of days). If you don’t have one perfect photograph, I might be able to combine the best bits from several photographs. Once you have decided the medium and size, and we have a good image, I will provide you with a quote. I ask for half the fee up front.
PRICES: Contact me to discuss. The price varies depending on the size of the piece, how many subjects are featured, etc. We can work around your budget.
